PROJECT OVERVIEWThe Messeih’s came to us after exploring multiple design concepts with other companies—none of which ever truly felt right. They weren’t just looking for someone to build; they wanted a team they could trust to guide the vision and bring something to life they were genuinely excited about.
At the same time, their existing backyard felt outdated, tight, and underutilized—limiting both everyday enjoyment and the ability to entertain. With a desire to move forward quickly, it was essential that the design came together efficiently, but more importantly, that it felt right from the start.
DESIGN APPROACHWorking closely with the homeowners, our goal was to create a space that felt both intentional and highly functional—designed to support everything from large gatherings to quiet, everyday moments.
Rather than approaching the project as simply a patio and pool, we treated it as a true extension of the home. Every decision was made with flow, usability, and long-term livability in mind.
LAYOUT & FLOWThe layout was carefully designed to create distinct yet connected zones throughout the space. These include a poolside lounging area, outdoor kitchen and dining space, fireplace gathering area, and a dedicated spa and tanning space—all seamlessly integrated.
Multiple elevation changes were introduced to create natural transitions between each area, adding depth, movement, and a more architectural feel to the overall design.
MATERIALS & AESTHETICMaterial selection played a key role in bringing the vision to life. A refined blend of large-format porcelain pavers, natural stone elements, and smooth architectural coping was paired with warm tones and layered greenery to create a timeless yet modern aesthetic. The design draws inspiration from contemporary French garden layouts, complemented by subtle Italian villa influences—resulting in a space that feels elevated, cohesive, and thoughtfully detailed at every level.
THE TRANSFORMATIONThe finished space completely redefined how the homeowners use their backyard. What was once limited and outdated is now a fully functional outdoor living environment designed to adapt to any occasion.
From quiet evenings at home to casual brunches or hosting larger gatherings, the space supports it all effortlessly. It’s no longer just a backyard—it’s become a central part of their lifestyle and how they spend time together.
